• All-New Nissan Altima dubbed ‘Best Family Sedan’

• Nissan granted special award for contribution to Motorsports industry in the Kingdom

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (June 30th 2019) – Nissan won double honors during the Seventh National Auto Awards 2018/2019 which took place on June 26th 2019 in Jeddah under the patronage of the Saudi Federation of Motor and Motorcycle Sports. Nissan claimed the title of ‘Best Family Sedan’, for the All-New Altima, and a special award for exceptional contributions to the Kingdom’s Motorsports industry.

The National Auto Awards provide an important platform to highlight and recognize the efforts spent to elevate the automotive industry in the Kingdom.  

The 6th generation of the best-selling Nissan Altima offers a new standard of design, driving enjoyment and technology within the mid-sized sedan segment. It boasts a new sleek exterior, luxurious interior, two new engines and advanced features which aim to further assist the driver and guarantee safety on the road.  The result is an embodiment of Nissan Intelligent Mobility and a car which aims to shake-up the mid-sized sedan segment. 

Nissan earned the second accolade after an exceptional year in Motorsports. Nissan has played a pivotal role in motorsports having sponsored the Hail Nissan Rally and the Saudi Star Drift Championship since 2014. Moreover, Nissan has supported numerous individuals in the field as part of the continued effort to develop local talents and help them compete at the highest levels. Most recently Nissan supported 19-year-old Reem Al-Aboud, the youngest and first Saudi female to drive a Formula E car at the Addiriyah circuit during the championships debut in the Kingdom.
