Nissan Introduces Game-Changing ALPFA After-Sale Solution for Elevated Customer Retention in Saudi Arabia

PARIS, FRANCE – Nissan has today announced management changes to drive its transformation and growth plans across the AMIEO region, (Africa, Middle-East, India, Europe and Oceania).

These new appointments support the ongoing transformation taking place within the Nissan AMIEO region, targeting business growth and new revenue streams, while contributing to a cleaner, safer and more inclusive society.

Mayra González, currently Divisional Vice President Marketing & Sales Transformation AMIEO, is appointed Divisional Vice President Marketing & Sales Europe, the centre of the company’s electrification plans and where Nissan plans to launch four all-new 100% electric vehicles in the coming years.

González replaces Jordi Vila, who is appointed Divisional Vice President Africa, another strategic market for Nissan, home to two Nissan plants and where there is potential for significant business growth.

Vila replaces Joni Paiva, who is returning to Renault from May 1st after 11 successful years in Nissan, including leadership positions in the US, Canada and most recently in AMIEO.

With distribution partnerships becoming increasingly important to Nissan’s growth plans across multiple markets, Charbel Abi Ghanem, currently Managing Director for Nissan in Turkey (NOAS), is promoted to Vice President Independent Markets Europe, retaining his current responsibilities in Turkey. He replaces Sinan Ozkok, whose next assignment will be announced later.

Targeting new business opportunities and harnessing Nissan’s electric ecosystem vision, Guillaume Pelletreau, Region Vice President Electrification & Connected Services AMIEO, in addition to his current responsibilities is appointed to Region Vice President New Revenues and Marketing & Sales Transformation AMIEO.

Finally at regional level, Guillaume Barbet, currently Director Planning Car flow & Performance AMIEO, is promoted to Region Vice President Marketing & Sales Planning & Performance AMIEO.

“These appointments will strengthen the Nissan leadership team as we transform our business to secure further growth, develop new revenue streams and deliver a flawless customer experience as we prepare to launch even more innovative and exciting products across the region.”

Also announced today are leadership changes in five the major markets in the AMIEO region, including:

- Diana Torres, currently Managing Director for the Nissan Importers Business Unit in Latin America, is promoted to Managing Director Nissan Motor Great Britain (NMGB).

- Andrew Humberstone, currently Managing Director NMGB, is appointed to Managing Director Oceania. He replaces Adam Paterson who, is returning to Nissan Americas.

- Jean-Philippe Roux, currently Region Vice President Distribution AMIEO, is appointed Managing Director Nissan Nordic Europe RBU (NNE).

- Christian Costaganna, currently Managing Director for the Nissan Nordic Europe RBU (NNE) is appointed to Managing Director Nissan Iberia, S.A. (NIBSA) in Spain. He replaces Bruno Mattucci who is appointed Senior Project Lead Strategic Projects.

- Saurabh Vatsa, currently Deputy Managing Director for Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd (NMIPL) is appointed to Managing Director Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd (NMIPL), replacing Rakesh Srivastava, who is retiring.
