JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (December 19, 2022) – Following its long and successful track record in motorsports, Nissan KSA was named as the exclusive automotive partner of the 2022 Red Bull Car Park Drift World Final, the region’s largest drifting competition.
The annual event, which recently took place in Jeddah’s Corniche circuit, aims to redefine the drifting experience through the concept of safe driving. Honoring the rich legacy of the Nissan Z sports car and its admirable evolution, Nissan KSA displayed an immersive booth at the event that merged the company’s Japanese DNA with the car’s illustrious history. The display showcased the 2nd generation of the Nissan Z with a vibrant street in Tokyo serving as the background for the booth.
Nissan KSA hosted a number of its trusted partners and top tier local media in Saudi Arabia at the long-awaited event, which saw 24 drifters from 18 countries eagerly compete for the King of Drift title. Abdo Feghali, Redbull’s champion and Guinness World Record Holder for the longest drift, performed in the all-new 2023 Nissan Z after years of continuous drift with the 370Z.

Abdo Feghali also commented on his experience of driving the all-new Z, “I had the pleasure of testing the all-new Z and I loved it, especially the engine. It is great to experience a Twin Turbo V6 engine that exudes torque and power with smooth performance and response. The new look of the car is very innovative; it has the same DNA as the previous Nissan Z cars but with noticeable updates and the latest technologies. It is more optimized for driving pleasure with greater grip and car control, especially on the Red Bull Car Park Drift track.”
