Nissan Saudi Arabia Promotes Car Safety through a Back-to-School Video
  • In line with Nissan KSA’s efforts to reinforce the Arabic Language to strengthen the national identity particularly for the young generation in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – Since Arabic is the official language in the Kingdom and the mother tongue for Saudi natives, Nissan KSA has collaborated with Dreamrock entrainment, a local production and entertainment company, founded by two Saudi women, who produce a children’s channel called ‘Azooz & Jude’ which is specialized in communicating fun, entertaining and educational Arabic content to kids.

As Saudi Arabia recently announced the return of students to classrooms, Nissan KSA cooperated with Dreamrock entertainment to produce a ‘Back to School’ video showcasing car safety and the importance of car seats for children and seatbelts for all car passengers. The video positions the Nissan X-Terra as the ideal family car which prioritizes the passengers’ safety. The X-Terra is fitted with various Nissan Intelligent Mobility features that keep passengers safe from inside and outside the SUV, namely the Nissan Intelligent Rearview Mirror which goes from mirror to monitor at the flip of a switch.

Through this collaboration with Dreamrock entertainment, Nissan KSA will be supporting the two Saudi mothers who founded the Azooz & Jude channel due to their drive towards creating fun and educational Arabic videos for kids. This partnership is another step Nissan Saudi Arabia has taken in their consistent efforts to support female local talents over the years and enabling the growth of the female labor force as a major contributor to the Saudi economy, paving the way for future generations.

Hatoon Bushnaq, General Manager of Corporate Communications at Nissan KSA, commented on this initiative: “I take pride in being part of a company that recognizes and nurtures ambitious women. This is one of many initiatives Nissan KSA has undertaken to empower Saudi female entrepreneurs and increase their involvement in the business sector. This collaboration serves not only to support local female entrepreneurs, but also to reach the younger audience in an educational and entertaining way, utilizing the Arabic language to strengthen the national identity and showcase car safety with Nissan”.

Also commenting on this initiative, Alanoud Alhejailan, Co-founder of Azooz & Jude, said: “I’m truly honored to be working with such an inspirational team, at a highly respected global automotive company. With Nissan KSA’s support, we will hopefully be able to reach more parents and educators and become closer to achieving our mission to be recognized as a producer of innovative, entertaining and educational Arabic content.”

Through this collaboration, which is in line with Nissan KSA’s goals in the Kingdom, the company aims to promote the use of the Arabic Language to strengthen the national identity, highlight the importance of car safety and empower local talents to carry on growing their businesses in Saudi Arabia.
